"Perpetual adoration is the most beautiful thing you could ever think of doing. People are hungry for God." - St Mother Teresa

In 2003, the founder of Adoration Servants, Steve Lovison, was visiting the Franciscan Kolbe Shrine of Marytown in the Archdiocese of Chicago. Steve was in Chicago on business with his small computer consulting company and was also active in St. Maximilian Kolbe’s Militia of the Immaculata, then headquartered at Marytown.

Around 2:00 AM, while in prayer before St. Maximilian Kolbe, Steve asked the saint to become his “C.E.O.” for whatever work God might ask of him. In that prayer, Steve spoke to St. Max as if in an interview—sharing his life story, his skills, and his desire to serve the Church. The prayer ended simply:

“Send me work.”

The very next day, Fr. John Grigus, OFM Conv. (RIP), introduced himself to Steve. Upon learning that Steve owned a computer consulting company, he asked him to review the Chicago Adoration website.  From that point Steve became busy with the Pope John Paull II Eucharistic Adoration Associate of the Archdiocese of Chicago working extensively on Adoration efforts due St John Paul II's "Year of the Eucharist"

Soon after, Steve was asked to develop a Eucharistic Adoration chapel management system. His initial response was hesitation—he believed the project would be large, and that many involved in Adoration might not use a computer system.

Shortly afterward, back in Huntington Beach, California, Steve’s pastor learned of his involvement in supporting Adoration in Chicago. He asked Steve to take over management of a one-day-per-week Adoration schedule at the parish. When the outgoing deacon explained that this task would require six to eight hours per week, Steve set out to find a better way.

From that need, the Adoration Servants system was born—built upon the successful procedures used in Chicago.

Today, that original chapel has grown to 24/6 Adoration, with rarely a vacant hour. What once required many hours per week can now be managed in about one hour weekly.

That prayer "Send me work!" was answered—and it continues to be answered every day. Under the guidance of St. Maximilian Kolbe, Adoration Servants exists to serve Eucharistic Adoration chapels, removing burdens and helping them thrive, freely and without cost, for the glory of God and the salvation of souls.
